Courtyard Boutique is a design-led contemporary homeware and gift store.

Brief

Create a new brand identity and ecommerce website design

Outcome

Courtyard Boutique sell a variety of products from old to new, one off vintage furniture right through to hand made cushions and jewellery.

With this in mind we wanted to create something that would not be too specific to any product that the boutique sells, but still gives the brand a distinguished identity in the marketplace.

Our response was to create a logo based on the ornate entrance gates that feature at the entrance to courtyards / gardens. The resulting logo was one that creates subtle emotions of entering into a beautiful place, and which works across all applications for the brand. A clean sans serif typeface compliments the decorative device and reinforces the contemporary look and feel of the brand.
