Sproutee Solutions is a web design, development and marketing business based in London. Their mission is to create robust, reliable and professional web presences for small to medium businesses.

Brief

Create and design a visual identity for the business that would span logo design, stationery design ( business cards, comp slips & letterheads ) and would reflect Sproutee's friendly, happy, approachable ethos of work.

Outcome

Our response to the brief was to create a logo that reflected the friendly, approachable services of Sproutee and not the cold, unfriendly logos normally associated with web development businesses.

The logotype we created plays on the company's name and the vibrant, fun and exciting associations with a germinating plant. This symbolises what the business provides to customers. The logotype is reinforced with the strap-line "make your online business grow" which completes the brand's character & tone of voice.

A modified script font is used for the Sproutee logotype and with its curves creates a soft friendly feeling. The sans serif element of the logo is created in Futura Bold; a contemporary linear font that compliments the curves perfectly whilst keeping the professional feel to the brand. The Futura family is then used throughout the brand's stationery to link the logo with the supporting printed articles.
